8th Malaysia Harley Owners Group ( H.O.G) Rally 2011
The Harley Owners Group Malaysia chapter represents approximately 2000 members who are owners of the legendary motorcycle Harley-Davidson in Malaysia. With affiliation with Harley Owners Group International, HOG is currently the biggest motorcycle members club in the world with more over 1.2 million members worldwide. HOG Malaysia chapter, similarly to other HOG all over the world, regularly organizes biking activities for its members. NAZA Prestige Bikes Sdn Bhd, the official importer and dealer for Malaysia market has been instrumental in the success of HOG Malaysia Chapter events through financial and other supports.
Besides local ride and charity activities which are done on a weekly basis, every local chapter of HOG are sanctioned by HOG International to do an annual Rally consisting of a convoy riding tour and family activity to a chosen destination where a bike competition and events will be held. As part of its social responsibility, HOG Malaysia Chapter always includes charity event in its calendar which include services to the local community or welfare homes with orphanages.
This year it is HOG Malaysia’s 8th Annual Rally and HOG have chosen the state of Johor as its destination.
The rally will be held from the 19th till the 22nd November 2011, involving only Harley- Davidson Bikes, convoying of nearly 1000km by more than 120 bikes, starting from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bharu, Johor Bharu town and Nusajaya tour, Johor Bharu to Kota Tinggi with bikes events and competitions will be held in Desaru and ride back to Kuala Lumpur via Kluang. Family members of 120 will join the convoy by bus.
An orphanage charity home have been identified in Kota Tinggi where Harley Owners will be doing charity by taking the underprivileged children for a joy ride on Harley-Davidson and cash contribution will be presented by the club as well as by Takaful Ikhlas Sdn Bhd, one of the main sponsors for this rally.

HOG activities are tailored to ensure that as many members as possible can join the activities. This year’s rally managed to gather 120 bikers and more than 100 family members to join the event.
